Standards and project specifications
Projects in the UAE generally specify material to ASTM, ASME, API and EN standards, together with the owner's or EPC contractor's own material specifications. These often add requirements such as supplementary chemistry limits, impact testing, hardness limits, positive material identification, ultrasonic testing or specific marking and packing. We review each specification at the enquiry stage and confirm which requirements can be met before quoting.
For sour service in oil and gas production, material can be supplied to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 on request. Our company is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, and mill test certificates (MTC) are supplied with all material.
Shipping to the UAE
Shipments leave from Mumbai and Nhava Sheva (JNPT) for Jebel Ali in Dubai and Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, as well as other UAE ports on request. Urgent and small consignments can be sent by air freight. We quote on EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF terms, and transit time is confirmed with each quotation. Material is packed for sea freight in bundles, wooden boxes and crates, and documents include the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading and MTC, with attestation where the buyer requires it. Third-party inspection by the buyer's nominated agency can be arranged before dispatch.
